Your tour begins in the morning at a meeting point in Nakhchivan city center. After a brief introduction and briefing with your guide, you’ll first visit the Tomb of Momine Hatun and the Tomb of Yusuf Küseyir Oğlu, where you’ll learn about the architecture and history of the Seljuk period. Then, you’ll travel to Ordubad, where you’ll see the historic streets, bazaars, and traditional stone houses, and experience the region’s cultural heritage.
Later in the day, you’ll set off to explore Nakhchivan’s natural beauty. First, you’ll visit the Ashabu-Kehf Shrine, famous for its legends, to experience the region’s spiritual atmosphere. Then, you’ll take a walk and take photos at Lake Batabat. Optionally, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a unique health tourism experience by visiting the Duzdağ Physiotherapy Center, located within a salt mine.
In the evening, you’ll return to the city center and sample local delicacies such as qovurma, Sürhüllü, and Nakhchivan Küttesi at a local restaurant. After dinner, you’ll have free time to shop, explore the bazaars, and soak up Nakhchivan’s evening atmosphere by sitting in a cafe. At the appointed time, you’ll gather to conclude your day and prepare for the next stage of the tour.
